X-AIR Ventilator (patent pending) takes outside mechanical ventilation to a new level
The X-AIR Greenhouse consists of a unique X-AIR Ventilator which is specially designed to mix the required amount of outside air into the greenhouse. This ventilation system allows the use of single or double screen systems without limitations on opening and closing. The new Data Driven Greenhouse includes an energy-efficient climate control system which combines decentralized forced air ventilation and circulation in a natural way to create optimal crop growing conditions inside the greenhouse. These optimal growing conditions can be created under all outdoor weather conditions by mixing outside air or air from above the screens with greenhouse air and circulating it. This practical and compact ventilation system is strategically placed to cover the entire greenhouse.
Additionally, the decentralization of the controlled outside air intake and recirculation allows the greenhouse climate to be cooled and/or dehumidified in an energy-efficient way. This active climate control technology ensures that less ventilation is required and high carbon dioxide (CO2) levels can be maintained for a longer period of time. This will translate directly into a substantial production increase and reduction of energy costs.
